Temptation 2004 – Dubai

by Aaina on January 30, 2005

Temptation 2004 was thunderous in Dubai with shouts from the excited audience. The show was broadcasted in the US on January 29, 2005 on Zee TV. It was filled with electrifying moves of the six sensations of bollywood. A mixture of comedy, dance, melody and a lot of frolic, the show offered a variety of performances ranging from a short movie to personal talents.

The show was very uniquely organized and the organization skills were visible by the distinctiveness of the show. After a song performance by each star at the beginning of the show, Shahrukh Khan announced the short film ‘Kal Ho Na Ho Parso To Hoga Hi.’ The film was full of entertainment and was also a witty way of showing off acting as well as dancing skills all at one time, in one short movie.

The actors also performed to show a different part of their personalities. Saif Ali Khan played the guitar with full passion and honesty. Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee performed on an awesome remix, which was a combination of ‘O Humdum Suniyo Re’ from Saathiya and ‘Jiya Jale’ from Dil Se. The bharatnatyam was perhaps the best part of the show. Arjun Rampal tried his hand (literally) in karate and proved to be outstanding in it. Priyanka Chopra has incredible singing skills. She rocked the audience with her stunning voice and marvelous style of singing. Last but not the least, Shahrukh Khan came out saying that unlike other, he doesn’t have any talent except for spreading some love. He called people from the audience on the stage and sang some of his most romantic songs from his movies for them.

The show came to an end with the six shining stars dressed up in disco-type costumes with Afros on their heads. Each of them came forward to say their ‘thank-yous’ and how much fun they had. The three hours long show was no less than any bollywood film, which is packed with a whole lot of entertainment and thrill.

Hi SS…thanks for ‘hopping’ by. And also for empathizing ;) . BTW, what’s your name? Yeah, I hope you keep visiting. And I will be sure to visit your blog too.

Suneel - I hope I get the scholarship too… :) You’re right, Preity and Saif were awesome performers but I thought everyone was wonderful in their own way. And no, I will not strangle you for ‘ignoring’ Shahrukh. It’s okay. You have your own opinion and I respect that. So, no worries!
