Aamir Khan seems to be doing a lot of catching up with the media these days. Prior to the release of his amazing movie ‘Taare Zameen Par,’ he was barely ever seen in the media but now, he makes sure he doesn’t miss a single event. He even showed up at Salman’s ladylove Katrina’s birthday bash, but hey, didn’t everyone?

Laaga Chunari Mein Daag looks like it’s going to be an entertainer with a lot of drama and emotions. But I have a feeling it’s not going to be like those regular sad, depressed movies. I am sure Pradeep Sarkar has added an element of elegance to all the sadness that goes on in regular films. Hoping for the best and looking forward to watching this one.

There’s a movie coming out (I don’t know when) called No Smoking. The director, Anurag Kashyap had a contest for a poster design for No Smoking back in December of 2006. I submitted three designs. We were told that the winner of the contest will be announced in February but it’s June now and there’s no response. I didn’t really mind that because directors and film makers have a ton of stuff to do, so, they must have been busy with something else. But I was furious when I saw …

So, here’s the deal: media has been way out of proportion lately as far as the Indian film industry is concerned. There are so many “journalists” (the quotation marks are to emphasis the fact that a lot of people today claim to be journalists when they know nothing about the media or its ethics) that constantly come up with news that is nowhere close to being true.
