France, here I come…
In three weeks from thursday, I will be on the 2:00 PM Air France flight, off to Paris. Exciting or what? 
I am really looking forward to this trip. It was an offer from my French teacher at school. There are 9 students in all that are going to Paris. We take off on February 17th (my aunt’s birthday) and land back in San Francisco on February 26th.
Good thing I won’t be missing school since I have vacation during that week.
The trip is really interesting. Let me explain it. We take off from SF at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on thursday and will land in Paris on Friday. From there we take the train to a small town, ‘La Rochelle’. There, we will be staying with a French family for five days in order to get a good sense of what the ‘real’ french culture is like. I think it will a nice experience. After the five-day family stay, we will go back to Paris and stay in a hotel for three days. These days will be dedicated to shopping and visiting places in Paris like the Eiffel Tower, Chocolate factory, Perfumerie (perfume factory) etc.
There will also be a farewell dinner the night before we come back to US.
I am trying to pack my stuff right now and getting ready for the trip. Look forward to it!

thats awesome…have a wonderful time…the only time I have seen paris was when I went to India and had a stop over for 4 hrs…so I was in the airport only:):)…I could catch a glimpse of the Eiffel tower from the plane though:)….have fun on the trip and hope to see a long post when u return:)
