Similar Logos: Pepsi vs Yatra

I noticed a strange similarity in these two logos. The ‘yatra.com’ logo shows a symbol that’s very close to the symbol in Pepsi’s logo. The symbol in Yatra’s logo symbolizes the earth and the space that’s in between the circle is the movement of the birds. And the white in Pepsi’s logo simply represents a smile.

Pepsi’s new logo has been criticised ever since it was brought in the public eye. I think it’s good that Pepsi is modernizing its look and taking a fresh, simple approach, but I also think that with this logo, Pepsi is losing its authenticity, especially when compared to Coca-cola. Also, the hip lingo and bright colors on billboards and other advertising material just seems childish. What are your thoughts on this?
